The Challenge

This project is replacing a 60-year-old pipeline through the San Vicente Reservoir, which is used to transport water throughout Southern California.

The project consists of 2,200 LF of Cut and Cover 48” Reinforced Concrete Pressure Pipe, 990 LF of 48” Reinforced Concrete Pressure Pipe through a 10 foot diameter tunnel, a new access road to the City of San Diego’s terminal structure, all new drainage systems for the access road, a new Terminal Structure, and a new Pedestrian bridge for access to the newly constructed dam.
