The Challenge
This project included the removal and replacement of a 2-span bridge on existing steel girders over Jacks Canyon. The deck replacement was required to be done in two phases while maintaining one lane of traffic. The project was located in a remote area of Arizona and spanned a 60’ deep canyon.
Thanks to Pulice Construction for sharing this drone video of the improved SR 87 Jacks Canyon Bridge about 12 miles south of Winslow. Crews removed and replaced the existing bridge deck and barrier walls and resurfaced the bridge approaches. pic.twitter.com/8SxdGeliIn
