Pulice was recognized as a 2016 Global Best Project Winner (Award of Merit, Water/Wastewater category) by Engineering News-Record (ENR), as one of the contractors for the Emergency & Carryover Storage Project for the San Diego County Water Authority. Pulice served as the contractor for the San Vicente Marina Facility, a key element of the project, which included the construction of a new marina and pipeline at San Diego’s most used recreational reservoir.

The annual competition highlights teamwork and overcoming hurdles of designing and building internationally. The project was chosen as one of 23 projects from 15 different countries and five continents, with judging based on safety performance, innovations, challenges, and design and construction quality, with emphasis on team diversity and collaboration. Award categories included Airport/Port, Bridge/Tunnel, Military, Power/Industrial, and Water/Wastewater. The winning projects were spotlighted in detail in the Sept. 19 issue of ENR, and more information regarding the award is available here.
