The I-15, Virgin River Gorge Bridge #6 Construction Manager at Risk project was recognized with an APWA Project of the Year award in the $25 million to $75 million category. This project was a Pulice-led joint venture and completed in 2016. The award was received on August 28, 2017 in Orlando, Florida. The award promotes excellence in the management and administration of public work projects, and recognizes exemplary collaboration by the managing agency, design team, and contractor.

The bridge is located in the far northwest corner of the state on the I-15 interstate between Nevada and Utah, 100 feet above the Virgin River. The project involved the replacement of the superstructure of the bridge, and required close coordination and communication with three state DOTs and numerous Federal agencies to minimize traffic and environmental impacts. The project team worked within a limited equipment staging area to reconstruct the bridge within the tight conditions of the Gorge, with 24,000 vehicles per day traveling through the work zone.
